A recent conversation between Paula and Julia, the baby, after a feeding:
Julia: “Hiiiii. Urrrrrn!”
Paula: “What are you trying to say? Are you expressing contentment? Gratitude?”
Julia: Pooooooooot!
Paula: “Hmmm… or something else?”
This kid is a laugh-a-minute. And a diaper a minute!
Life as a Physicist 
Wow, Julia is speaking really fast. How old is Julia again? I think my first words were “dai” (means “give me” in Russia) and “tatz”. What made you guys decide on Julia, anyway?
🙂 Well, not really speaking, but yes, she is learning to express herself. We are learning what certian facial expressions mean too…
We chose Julia because it was a name we liked…
Yes, I must say, Julia is a fine name 😛
