Boycott Dell? June 18, 2008

I’d not heard of this before. But there are a group of people that are doing there best not to buy from Dell. The reason is that M. Dell, Dell’s founder and current chairman and CEO, actively campaigned for the current Bush. Most of the rest just donated to the party; they didn’t actively campaign. People are so angry at what Bush has done they are looking for anyway they can to hurt him and his supporters.

I found a boycott Dell web site but it was more about customer service issues. The best I could come up connecting Dell with Bush was this site. The site isn’t very complete — but the numbers they list are interesting! I wonder if there will be a total reversal of the donations this time around? Also, look at how little money some of the companies gave!

Has anyone else heard about this Dell boycott? Is this just a small group of die-hards?
