Bad Karma July 22, 2008

Well, I held EVO up the other day as something that wasn’t doing well. And Skype as something that was done right. Of course, today, using the new version of Skype, I’m getting crashes!
It’s my birthday today (22nd). Stop by and leave a comment! I’ve been doing this blogging for over 3.5 years now. Never imagined I’d still be writing!
Update: Awesome. More bad karma. In the last 15 minutes I’ve gotten 1050 new emails. All of them Russian, all of them bounces. How nice, and right for my birthday! Thaaaank you!
Now, the question is — how much real email am I going to accidentally throw out with this junk!? And can I use this as an excuse to not do some task (sorry, didn’t see that email!).
Happy birthday! Plus, 3.5 years of blogging is quite a long time – were you blogging physics stuff before this blog as well?
Yeah — I started in 2005 as part of the Quantum Diaries bloggers — for the world year of science. And I had a blog a few months before that where I was testing to see if I could actually write a blog…
And thanks!
Happy Birthday! Your blog is a source of inspiration not just because I’m a graduate student in particle physics and am getting an inside look at “life as a physicist,” but also on your perspectives in life and addictive optimism. Please keep it up!
Thanks, Harold!
Happy Birthday!!!! -how old are you, btw?
Happy Birthday Gordon!!!
Thanks!! And I’m 42! Ack!
Happy birthday.
Thanks!
