Bud Light? I wasn’t aware that funding for particle physics was that bad! I’ll have to write my congressman!!!
Ha! That might explain it! In the US we can’t use grant money to purchase beer or any other drink. Well, soda is ok. At least, federal money. So we have to scrape and scrounge to come up with non-federal money for our parties and so forth. Perhaps that explains the beer. Actually, this was after they ran out of a 1/4 keg of the good stuff. They just weren’t expecting as many drinkers as they got. Fools!
