Must be a local effect, after a fairly pleasant January here on the East Coast it has been pretty cold in February. I did not break out my heavy winter coat until about week ago, but I have needed ever since.
Yeah — when I was in Chicago it was killer — about 0F! The east coast and midwest seem to be getting a full on winter finally. As you say, it was very warm when I was back in New Jersey for Christmas!
